Sky Lodging offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user. Your use of this website is conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

When you visit our website or make a purchase, you are participating in our "Service" and consenting to adhere to the outlined terms and conditions ("Terms of Service" or "Terms"). This includes additional terms, conditions, and policies mentioned here or accessible through hyperlinks. 1. General conditions

We retain the right to decline service to any individual for any reason at any given time.

​

You acknowledge that your content (excluding credit card information) may be transmitted unencrypted, involving (a) transmissions across different networks and (b) adjustments to conform and adapt to the technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. However, it's important to note that credit card information is consistently encrypted during transfer over networks.

 

You consent not to replicate, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any part of the Service, the use of the Service, or access to the Service, including any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without obtaining our express written permission.

 

The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not impose limitations or otherwise impact these Terms.

2. Booking terms

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you confirm that you have reached at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. Alternatively, if you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have provided consent, you acknowledge that any of your minor dependents are authorized to use this site.

​

No smoking and no pets allowed at Sky Lodging.

​

Sky Lodging is suitable for a maximum of 4 adults.

 

We are not a hotel and this is a non-serviced area with no reception.

​

You get your PIN code for the door opening one day before your arrival via email. The code is valid until check-out.

Self check-in is anytime after 4pm.

If you need an early check-in or late check-out, it is contingent upon availability and will incur an hourly fee. If you extend your stay beyond the initially booked time, we retain the right to charge your credit card for an additional hour. Early check-ins or late check-outs can be acquired and scheduled by contacting us, with a maximum booking window of 4 weeks in advance.

 

There is no breakfast provided in the price. Included in the price is VAT 10%, free wifi, coffee and tea, towels, bed linens, the use of the sauna, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and final cleaning of the cabin. Full amount is due right upon booking.

 

Sky Lodging assumes no responsibility if the sauna becomes unusable due to force majeure, such as severe storms, adverse weather conditions, or similar circumstances. Consequently, no refunds can be claimed for the inability to use these facilities. The same principle applies to the rooftop windows; in the event of heavy snowfall, thin ice, cloudy sky or comparable situations, we cannot guarantee a clear view through the glass ceiling as this is beyond our control. We make efforts to clear snow while on-site, provided that weather conditions safely permit. Please also note that, while we strive to offer an exceptional experience, the observation of Northern Lights cannot be guaranteed due to the inherent unpredictability of natural phenomena.

In the event of a storm, adverse weather conditions, force majeure, or if you are unable to reach the lodge due to reasons such as illness, accidents, or canceled flights, no refunds will be provided. Guests are responsible for independently checking for potential road closures and taking appropriate action, such as finding alternative routes or waiting until the road reopens. Sky Lodging does not assume responsibility for situations beyond its control that may hinder guests from reaching the lodge.

Sky Lodging bears no responsibility for the loss or damage of any property left in the lodge. Guests have the opportunity to retrieve their lost or forgotten items within 7 days after check-out. Beyond this timeframe, all items are collected and regularly donated to organizations such as the Red Cross or other facilities that may benefit from electronic devices or clothing. Storage space is limited, and we cannot retain items for an extended period. If guests wish to have their lost items shipped, they are responsible for covering the postal and packaging fees in advance, along with a 35€ fee for time and effort.

If you cause any damage to the property, such as a fire on the terrace, interior damage, broken windows, or roller blinds, we will invoice you for the costs promptly after your stay. We appreciate your consideration in treating our property with the same care as you would your own home.

​

Photographs, films, or social content captured at Sky Lodging cannot be utilized for any commercial purposes without prior written consent from Sky Lodging GmbH. We reserve the right to seek compensation for any use that contradicts our conditions.

 

Please be aware that bookings through our website are only accepted if made at least one day before the check-in date. Same-day bookings may be possible with a prior call to verify the lodge's readiness.

​

3. Cancellation terms

You have the option to cancel your reservation free of charge until 60 days prior to check-in, with the exception of a 50€ (Euro) processing fee, which is incurred for every canceled booking. This fee also applies to cancellations involving one or multiple nights within a booking. If you cancel between 59 and 0 days in advance, a non-refundable fee of 100% of the total booking price will be charged.

 

It's important to note that there is no refund for "no shows," encompassing issues such as flight schedule problems, car breakdowns, illness, closed roads or adverse weather conditions, accidents, schedule conflicts, or any other reasons preventing your arrival on the check-in day. Additionally, no refunds are provided for early departures due to the reasons mentioned above. Non-refundable fees cannot be utilized as credit for a subsequent booking.

 

We can provide you with an invoice for your travel insurance.

Changing your booking to different dates is feasible if the request is made at least 30 days prior to the check-in date and is subject to availability. However, please be aware that you will be responsible for covering any price difference if the new dates are more expensive than the originally booked dates. Changing your booking to different dates within 29 days of check-in is not possible. Again, non-refundable fees cannot be applied as credit for a subsequent booking. We only accommodate changes to booking dates within a maximum of 2 years from the original booking date.

Refunds will always be processed using the same method as the original payment. Transfers to other accounts or credit cards are not permitted for security reasons. When a refund is issued, it typically takes about 7 to 10 business days for the transaction to be processed. Please be aware that currency exchange differences may occur if your card is not denominated in Euros (€), and this is dependent on your card provider or bank.

 

Sky Lodging retains the right to cancel bookings and reservations in situations where it is unable to provide services due to force majeure events or acts of god, including but not limited to weather, strikes, natural disasters, or any other irregularity beyond the company's control. In the event of a cancellation initiated by Sky Lodging, the company will issue a refund to the client.

In cases where Sky Lodging needs to restrict a reservation or service due to technical issues or limited lodge services, a partial refund will be provided based on the severity of the issue.

 

It's important to note that Sky Lodging reserves the right to update or modify these booking and cancellation policies without prior notice.

4. Accuracy, completeness and timeliness of information

We do not assume responsibility if the information available on this site is not accurate, complete, or current. The material provided on this site is intended for general information purposes only and should not be solely relied upon for making decisions. It is advisable to consult primary, more accurate, complete, or timely sources of information before making decisions. Any reliance on the material on this site is undertaken at your own risk.

This site may include certain historical information, which is not current and is provided for reference purposes only. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time; however, we are not obligated to update any information. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to keep track of changes to our site.

5. Products, services, and prices

We retain the right to modify or discontinue the Service, or any part thereof, at any time without prior notice.

Sky Lodging reserves the right to adjust its rates in response to economic changes, which may include, but are not limited to, currency fluctuations, inflation, increased supply costs, tax changes, and other events beyond the company's control.

 

While we reserve the right, we are not obligated, to restrict the sales of our products or services to any individual, geographic region, or jurisdiction. This right may be exercised on a case-by-case basis, and we may limit the quantities of any products or services offered. Descriptions of services or service pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. We also reserve the right to discontinue any service at any time. Any offer for a product or service on this site is void where prohibited.

We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other materials purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, nor do we guarantee that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

6. Accuracy of billing and account information

We retain the right to refuse any order you place with us. In our sole discretion, we may limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. These limitations may apply to orders placed under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders using the same billing and/or shipping address. If we make changes to or cancel an order, we will make an effort to notify you by reaching out to the email and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was placed.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate booking and account information for reservations made on our website. Furthermore, you commit to promptly updating your personal information, including your email address and credit card details (including expiration dates), to facilitate the completion of your transactions and allow us to contact you as necessary.

7. Optional tools and third-party links

We may grant you access to third-party content, products, services and tools, and it is important to note that we neither monitor nor exert control or influence over these. You acknowledge and agree that your access to such tools is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranties, representations, or conditions of any kind, and without our endorsement. We bear no liability whatsoever arising from or related to your use of these optional third-party tools.

Any utilization of optional tools provided through the site is entirely at your own risk and discretion. It is essential to ensure that you are familiar with and approve of the terms under which tools are offered by the respective third-party provider(s). In the future, we may introduce new services and/or features through the website, including the release of new tools and resources. If, upon our request, you submit specific content (such as contest entries) or without any request from us, you submit creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials, whether online, via email, by postal mail, or through other means (collectively referred to as 'comments'), you agree that we may, without restriction, at any time, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate, and otherwise use in any medium any comments forwarded to us. We are and shall be under no obligation: (1) to maintain any comments in confidence; (2) to provide compensation for any comments; or (3) to respond to any comments.

While we have the option, we are not obligated to monitor, edit, or remove content that, in our sole discretion, we deem unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, pornographic, obscene, or otherwise objectionable or in violation of any party's intellectual property or these Terms of Service.

9. Errors, inaccuracies, omissions, and prohibited uses

Occasionally, there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions related to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, transit times, and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to modify or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is found to be inaccurate, without prior notice, even after you have submitted your order.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sky Lodging and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns, and employees from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

 

11. Severability, termination, and entire agreement

In the event that any provision of these Terms of Service is deemed to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, the enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected, and the unlawful or unenforceable portion shall be considered severed from these Terms of Service. Such determination shall not impair the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.

The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes. These Terms of Service remain effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You have the right to terminate these Terms of Service at any time by notifying us that you no longer wish to use our services or when you cease using our site.

 

If, in our sole judgment, you fail or we suspect that you have failed to comply with any term or provision of these Terms of Service, we may terminate this agreement at any time without notice. You will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination, and we may deny you access to our services (or any part thereof) accordingly.

 

The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.

These Terms of Service, along with any policies or operating rules posted by us on this site or in connection with the Service, constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and us.
